We currently aren’t running our hackerspace activities on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 7:30 in City of Edinburgh Methodist Church. We think we’ll resume something like that soon, though.  Mostly what we’re doing is in pairs in church buildings on the engineering side, apart from Dimitri’s hot wire anemometry.

Recent hackerspace sessions are focusing on temperature and humidity logging and visualization;  a black globe thermometer-based device to convey thermal comfort,  shaped like a person; and an interactive map showing our interventions. Contact info AT heathack DOT org if you would like more details.

  1. Hi-
    I’m a bit confused…
When are your Innovative Learning week events?
This page lists them as “Mon 14th Feb” and “Thu 17th Feb”, while the ILW 2016 page has them both as “Mon 14th Feb”
The Mon and Thu of that week in 2016 are 15th and 18th, respectively
Can you clarify the dates and venues for me, please?

    1. Many thanks for spotting this so early for us – let’s hope our attention to detail is better on the day! It’s Monday, 15 February, at City of Edinburgh Methodist Church, 25 Nicolson Square for “School of HeatHack”, and Thursday, 18 February, at St Columba’s by the Castle, for “Adventures in U-Values”.
